    Compaq CQ60 with no drivers?

Hey Guys (Thanks for helping with my last issue, i fixed it but didnt want to bump the old thread; it was a dead HDD),

I have a friends laptop here. Its rather old (Running Vista, Compaq CQ60 i believe she said she got it in '07).  It was running extremely slow. Had registry issues, errors, viruses (etc).  I decided it would be best to wipe it clean with a fresh install of vista using her keycode.

So thats done. Before i wiped it, i backed up her pictures and things, and took the time to find the drivers on HP's site (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/ProductList.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3768152) or so i thought.

I didnt check the individual links because I figured if it was hyperlinked, they had what i needed. Apparently not. I can't connect to the internet without the network drivers, and im sure ill need to update everything else accordingly. So i headed into Device Manager to find the network adapter (to atleast start there) and nada.  What i see in the tree is:

    Batteries

    Computer

    Disk Drives

    Display Adapters

    DVD/CD-ROM drives

    IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers

    Keyboards

    Mice and other pointing devices

    Other devices

    Portable Devices

    Processors

    Sound, video and game controllers

    Storage controllers

    System devices

    Universal Serial Bus controllers

Im thinking if anything it will be 'Portable device' just because it seems common sense. But when i check there, i only get 'Multi-Card' with no other real information. So i went to properties, update driver and of course it didnt get anywhere, but it does refer to it as 'Microsoft WPD FileSystem Volume Driver' which doesn't scream network to me.

The only other idea is under Other Devices:

    Coprocessor

    Ethernet controller

    Ethernet controller

    SM Bus Controller

    Unknown device

All of these come up with the little warning symbol. Clicking properties on one shows 'The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

Does anyone have this laptop and know which drivers i need to install, and where to find them?  It'd be extremely appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    General information

Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit

(says its a 2006 copyright, so maybe it was old when she bought it in '07?)

    AMD Athlon Dual-Core QL-62 2.00 GHz

    1790 Ram
