when the mac commericials started showing up, i for one found them funny. then i kept seeing them, hearing more bullshit about pc problems that only exist if you are absolutely stupid when it comes to using a computer, and i got really pissed off.
tekmandan, thank you for pointing out that the rift between macs and pcs on digital media is nonexistent. likewise, the rift between macs and pcs on word processing is also nonexistent. why? because microsoft made office available for macs. i once again point out to you the really obvious fact why mac is still alive and well in the 21st century: microsoft has been giving macs a leg up for the past few years.
why did macs switch to intel processors? so they could run windows software and windows applications! now tell me, are macs really macs anymore, or are they just pcs which you still can't upgrade and have a nice cute apple logo on them? i love the macbook pros, i seriously do. my brother has one and it is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen. but i still prefer my gateway tablet with windows vista any day.
yes, some of you may look at my sig and say, well, you're a microsoft rep, of course you're going to back microsoft. but i need to remind you, nowhere in my contract does it say that i need to defend microsoft's products. there are better products out there not necessarily made by microsoft. why do you think microsoft never stepped into photo imaging software or more advanced movie making? they're not stupid, adobe and other companies have established themselves as the industry leaders for basically all time. why does google search come as a default search engine for IE7? because google is a great search engine. i could go on.
wake up people. microsoft bashing for the sake of bashing microsoft only shows your ignorance.
