This is true. My last girlfriend thought my iBook was "cute," and when it comes to the realm of laptops, I have to say that most laptops, excluding macs, are pretty ugly.
Plus, Mac software integrates well together... since it's all first-party. Yes it's more expensive, but if you're a well-off family man who just wants a computer to handle all your media concerns and whatnot, I might recommend purchasing a Mac. In fact, I'd recommend Macs over PCs in most cases when dealing with someone who isn't computer-savvy. A PC in the hands of the uneducated inevitably leads to virus infections.
