    Looks awesome CoolB,

And there's some pretty efficient cable management. I've always thought you can't go wrong with a 6400+ x 2 when you got a really good HSF.

    Kudos man,

    Penewah!

Thanks yeah my case was running a little hot so the cable management was kind of a necessity.  And the 6400+ is great.  I love the speed.

Just finished building this new rig which replaced my old P4 dell, needless to say this one runs much faster.  Kept it just under 1000.

    NZXT Apollo Case

3x Thermaltake 120mm Blue LED fans

    ASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE 570 MOBO

AMD Athlon X2 6400+ Black Edition Processor (3.2gz)

    Zaleman 92mm Heatsink

XFX 8600 GT XXX 256mb graphics card (may SLI soon)

2x 250gb Seagate Barracuda SATA Hard Drives

    ASUS DVD-RW w/ Lightscribe (SATA)

    Samsung DVD-RW (IDE)

    2x 1gb OCZ DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

    2x 1gb Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

    NZXT PRC-550W PSU

    PCI Slot Cooler

    Zaleman Z-MFC1 6 Fan controller

    22" Westinghouse 5ms LCD Monitor

    Maxtor 1Touch 250gb External HD

    Logitech x240 2.1 Speakers

HP Deskjet 3900 (Does the job for 15 bucks)

    Logitech MX Revolution (Amazing Mouse)

    XP Professional SP2

    *Soon to be added*

    Saiteck Keyboard (On its way)

    Creative Sound Card

    USB Hub

The last two im just waiting to get my employee discount check from staples cause i work there and then those two are going in/on.

Overall the system runs great though.  Runs COD4 flawlessly and rarely gets above 50 load.  The fans can get a little loud so i plugged them into the Zaleman fan controller.  They move a lot of air even on the lowest setting.  At max speeds they can get pretty loud but i only turn them up that much when Im gaming so sounds isn't an issue.  Overall Im very satisfied with this.

No the rear case fan is an exhaust fan blowing the air out of the case.  The CPU fan is blowing the air back towards the exhaust fan and out of the case.  So they are both blowing out of the case.  Thanks anyways though

The way you have it setup in the pictures, the rear fan is blowing air out of the case, and the CPU fan is blowing air toward the front of the case. That is unless you modded the CPU fan, but by the pictures I can't tell that you have.

P.S. I have the same setup in one of my computers

So i took another look at it and i realized that you were right.  I had been thinking the Zaleman blew the other way.  I must have looked at it wrong when i tested it so i guess ill have to change it now.  Thanks for the help.

Also to jschramm that looks like a pretty nice setup you have there.  That tv is gorgeous.

Re: *Sticky* What is in your Rig?

Yeah, cuz' the fan is gooing to obviously blow across the HS to cool it, but don't sweat it, I get fans backwards all the time. LOL.

AMDkid1, you have to get a photo host site, they're free, like Photobucket, Facebook, etc, and when you upload your picts to it, they'll give you a direct link to copy and paste in threads. Use the little green tree icon, above, or whatever the heck it is. lol.

Love seein them picts peeps, keep'm coming.

HoggerH, whats the Eiffel Tower you got in that rig man? Is that a TR 120? Or a Kingwin Rev 120? The thing is huggggge! LOL/.

Re: *Sticky* What is in your Rig?

With the stock volts I have right now, all the cores usually idle around 26-27C, however if I open my windows, they can dip as low as 15C. Load temps are never higher than 35C. As for the GPUs, they idle around 35C, simply because the R600s run so hot.

Processor: P4 630 @ 3.0Ghz  (It's a Prescott and runs hot, true to form - 50C idle)  I can't complain too much, though, as it seems to take the heat well.  Goes over 65C under load, and it's never been unstable for me.
