    Newegg.ca Opens Warehouse in Canada

    Hi EggXperts!

    We just wanted to share some news (and a few photos) with you, as Newegg is preparing to open the doors to our first warehouse within Canada! The warehouse is located in Mississauga, Ontario, and should improve service and shipping for our Newegg Canada customers.

     I heard NewEgg has some serious competition to deal with in Canada..

    Looking forward to seeing all the new people join the forums.

    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

    I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    This is quite good to hear! Hope it works out!

    I'm sure our Canadian Neweggers will enjoy what all this will bring for them. Hopefully lower priced shipping, for example. Big Smile

    Sweet, this is close to me. How do we know what items will be shipping from there? Is stuff already shipping from there? Also, will we see more items with free shipping? Having free shipping on more items would be great, that's one of the reasons I don't buy from newegg often, after shipping newegg isn't really cheaper. The US store has a ton of stuff with free shipping :(

    I sure the heck wished that Newegg.ca was up front with customers on where their product is actually being shipped from. If I had known that my 5 hard drives were being shipped from NJ rather than Toronto I would of shopped else where. Now I have to wait 7 days for the product to get here rather than 3 days that it would of take an intra Canada shipment!

    Will remember this the next time I need some product though.
