Hello, this is the first time I buy a video card ever. Now everything went fine until 10 minutes after I installed the card and turned on the PC, the PC just completely shut off. Now I ignored checking the specs for the card, because I thought I would be fine. I checked the PSU and it's only 300W and in the box it says it requires at least 500W psu with two 75W 6 Pin PCI Express power connectors recommended. The part that scares me is the "two 75W 6 PIN connectors", so I was looking at this Sunbeam PSU-BKS580-US 580 ATX Power Supply - OEM and I was wondering if that would be enough for me to use my brand new video card.
If not, then can you please help me choose one? I'm really dying to play some games on my HD 4870 but I can't. I would prefer if you could keep the price under $40, only go higher if necessary.
Thanks in advance.
