Today we're showcasing Shuttle's latest contest, which asks fans of their newest Shuttle SX58H7 Barebone PC to create a promotional video and post it on YouTube. Video posters will be entered to win a variety of prize packages, including the Shuttle SX58H7 with an Intel Core i7 920, NVIDIA 3D Vision Kits, Razer Gaming Peripherals, and more.

LOL! I would love to do it if I could use existing footage but I bet you gotta shoot and direct your own film for this. If you used clips from movies etc, they'd get p****d, lol.

Here are the criteria for the entry again (it's all posted on the contest page at Shuttle):

1. Create a video about Shuttle

In 90 seconds or less (a) show us what you would do for a Shuttle or (b) create a movie parody featuring Shuttle. Check out the video above for an example. ALL VIDEO ENTRIES MUST ALSO INCLUDE INTEL MESSAGING TO BE VALID.


2. Upload your video to YouTube

Join the Shuttle YouTube group, upload your video creation, and submit the entry form.


3. Then just get ready to win some awesome prizes

Win the latest, greatest, and fastest gear – including the Shuttle SX58H7 with Intel Core i7, NVIDIA 3D Vision Kits, Razer Gaming Peripherals, and more.

It's all in the contest rules but just as a reminder, the videos can be either:


(a) A movie parody featuring Shuttle and Intel messaging.

All in all, we're just looking for creativity and of course inclusion of the Shuttle and Intel messaging; other than that, pretty much anything goes as long as it's legally OK to do so ;)

Give it a try. I would if I could... seriously.. prizes are great. But to keep it fair, we're keeping the awesome prizes around for the non-Shuttle employee and non-Shuttle employee's family members -- or YOU!

Is it the video that's stopping you? It doesn't need to be complicated, really. It's about your creativity so make it "j****ss" style if you'd like. You never know.

Has this ended yet?

Yeah, it ended on Sept 10th 2009, but they have not announced the winners or even responded to any inquiries made by the contestants...... I think they decided to blow off this comp since there was not a good turn out on vids...... but they should still honor the contest agreement and award somebody a prize, or at least post some kind of message if they are having issues as Linda Liu stated on facebook...... still waiting on that email they were sending out to contestants.......
