    Oops, I am sitting in front of the CPU so I will have to describe the totally bitchin' Compaq Presario S3100NX - AMD Athlon XP2200+ 1.8Ghz, upgraded to 1Gb DDR PC3200 RAM and a waaaaaaaaaaay cool Nvidia GeForce 6200 256MB vid card so I can watch Sara Conner Chronicals reruns when I miss them.

     

    Now the EggXperts know why I ask the kinds of questions I do...

    Budget: that hits the nail on the head for this system - budgetVGA: Nvidia 6200 (Pny)Monitor: acer 22" now
    MB: FIC AM37OS: XPBrowser: Windows Explorer for the wife, Firefox and Netscape for me

    These are the three computers that I eggxpert on mostly.  The PowerBook G4(Notebook on the right) is on its way out and the vaio is on its way in.

    I mostly egg from my laptop while in class.  In this example my long winded teacher was spending way too long on one topic so I'm on eggxpert

     

    I'll edit in a pic of my much cooler set up at home when I get home to take a pic of it.  Although 9 times out of 10 if I'm on the egg it's from this lapy and in class.

    When I was posting there was no tree icon or anything so there are the links to 2 pictures one of my monitors and what not and the other of my tower.

    If anyone knows how to make them appear not to be red boxes please tell me and I will fix the if not if you open them in another tab you can see the pictures. Thanks

    I'm replacing the 24" monitor with a smaller 19" from Newegg: tiny desk is tiny.

    Excuse me for being a little low end on the tech side on my desk.. I've got a 10 year old Samsung 19" monitor that is still gorgeous so I keep it around as my primary monitor.

    I also have my dreamcast hooked up still because it's still the only game system out there that plays both Japanese and American release games.

     

     

    My laptop is what I use as my primary system for EggXpert and I have a picture of it that I took on my recent trip to Chinatown New York City..

    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

    I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    Only working from the laptop at the moment. 

    You can see the dual Samsung LCD's the background however.
