    Special usage of esc

Hi guys, how often do you use “Esc”? When will you use it? Well, for me, this seems the most useless key on my keyboard. But when I read a computer book today, I have found some special usage of this key. Let’s have a look together

    1. If you click a link by mistake, directly click “esc” can stop opening the new page.

    2. When you are filling in user name (or something similar), press “esc” will clean all the contents.

    3. “Ctrl+Shift+Esc” can also startup the task management, same as “Ctrl+Alt+Del”

    4. When you want to reactive a certain application, press “Alt+Esc” will help you.

    5. For some popup windows (must with cancel button), you can press esc instead of click “cancel”

Well, these are what I know, how about yours?

I would give that title to scroll lock.

I almost said windows key but that's more like most pain in the butt key (when I'm on my desktop it IS actually useful).

As for escape about half the games I play use escape as a menu feature.  Also, my last keyboard's windows key had irritated me to such an extent I ripped it off, and when I wanted to use the windows key's function (opening the start menu in most cases), ctrl+esc is the next best thing.

You know you should look into a logitech g15 keyboard so when you play games you toggle a physical switch on the keyboard from windows to gamming and the windows key is disabled.

Maybe if I could get one of the old G15s, but those had keyrubbing issues.  Not to overreact but I'd rather swallow a pound of broken glass than spend even half of what the new G15 costs on it.
