    Will my PSU work?

First off, here is my current PSU: http://www.compusa.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2486983&sku=ULT40053

(I will also be using my current case, the Antec 900, and please dont act like the last people I talked to who said it wouldn't even run my case...)

I need to know if it will work with the hardware that I am looking to buy for my computer to upgrade it:

    GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130359

    RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227278
    MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131011

Oh and a single DVD drive.

    Re: Will my PSU work?

As long as your eight pin cpu power connector can split into two 4-pin connectors you should be able to put the system together. Other then that, if your conferable with having 600 watts to power the system you should be fine. To those that say the power supply won't work in the Antec 900 case... people mod cases for a reason (fitting in a power supply being a good reason) and it's not that hard to do so. Big Smile

    Re: Will my PSU work?

Yes it will work with the hardware but as Reactor said unless the 8pin mobo connector splits into 2 4pin connectors it will not work unless you can find an adaptor.Cool

    Re: Will my PSU work?

Thankfully my 8-pin mobo connector does split, actually...I think it is already split for my current mobo.

Thanks for the info, I've had people telling me different answers all day, but yours sounds the most educated.

    Re: Will my PSU work?

Glad to have helped but if the measurements are in inchs you would need to do some modding to your case so check it out carefully. Cool
