We will soon work in the same building, which means I could finally move out and live with her. This is what I always expect. Hope we will have a good time together. Not really... Same old, same old.

I was just informed a few days before that my grandpa had esophageal cancer and was on his last legs............

Well, I have good news. My sister will get married next month. That’s really excellent to me. This is the first time that I attend a wedding of my peers. Maybe, just maybe, I can be her bridesmaid, aha, excited!

Glad things are going well for you! Enjoy those days!

I just found out today a good friend died last week. All along I thought he was just on vacation...

Still working through my young wife having had died from b_reast cancer last December...(the forum edited out the B word with asterisks)

On the bright side, I have and love my little children and I wake up each morning, the sun comes up and I get out of bed...

I know how that is, lost my father to esophageal cancer 2 years ago. Didn't smoke or anything, got it because he had acid reflux.

I am moving into a new apartment, for the first time after college, and life really! Finally taking the first step from leaving the nest. I'm hoping all goes well!

Well the problem with that aesman is I'm just currently at a job I don't think I have a future with and about to be 24 in 2 months. I unfortunately do have to wait, as I may not see myself here long term. Hell the position I have is only a temp job anyway. Trust me though, if I could and it made sense, I would

never can tell how things will pan out man, i was a temp wanting money for a xbox back in the day turns out i landed a fairly decent job, results vary of course but keep up hope and skimp on the house for awhile, once the economy dives some more you'll be able to get a pretty nice pad for a decent price, atleast thats what i'm hoping for anyway lol

but now on to my recent thing i just graduated in may and booked my tickets to germany for next spring

I know it may seem pointless now but just starting the pot is what counts. It doesn't have to be much. say five dollars a month. Make it a habit now and it will pay off in the future. Best thing...open a savings account with no easy access in a bank other than your checking.

The flower won't grow if there is no pot to plant the seed in.

Exactly. Since I was 18, I put 5 dollars a week into a bank account I dont have access to. And 5 years later I have 1500 dollars in it.

that is awesome and the older you get and the more you bring in you can start to increase what you deposit. Pretty soon when you're ready to buy a house all the sudden you got the ten percent needed to put down.  

Yeah, trust me I've been trying to save. Also been trying to pay major up front to my loans, so I don't have to pay as much on the interest, knocking that principal down. But I've been saving a good chunk of change for a while now. Saving is definitely in my nature, I just finally have the income to start doing it effectively.
