I cannot remeber who says " we have to get married once during our life, or it is incomplete.." My friends have done or are doing the same exactly thing... It seems that I am the only different one~~

well. I really want to question  "Do people really want to get married? or just go with the crowd?"

Will you follow it?

I am not sure what I will do~~

Marriage is basically a commitment that locks you into a lifelong contract. Chose to break the contract before its expiration, you'll pay dearly.

.....now that I think about it....that's where the cell phone companies got their ideas!

P.S. Just try to tell a gal that you intend to marry her and remain married for 5 years, after which you'll trade her in for a newer younger model.

Well I think some people do it because it is the thing to do, I think some people do it because they like the Idea of being unionised, and some guys like it because it means they have that woman trapped.

 I myself am married for the last reason =P

 True, luckilly for me my wife is  Micro-Biologist and makes more money then me, so I am the one trapping her ;)

To me marriage is not a form of entrapment on either side. Both parties have to agree of that step and its a big one and can end up in a divorce. And that can become one hell of a legal battle and messy as hell.

Depending on where you live that is. Some times its aranged and your stuck with it till you die.. Thank god I don't live in the south..

Not sure why people bother to get married if they do not love the person enough to want to stay with them.  Meibe they enjoy the divorce and broken lives of children so much they want to jump in for the fun and spectacle.

But that is not for mei, this Aug will be huggie pie and mei 16th anniversery and I am in love as much as ever.

Some people just manage to no longer be in love. Its a sad thought but not all love lasts forever. Plus some people do some stupid **** to the ones they do love. My ex g/f was devastated when I broke up with her for cheating on me. She still tries to get a hold of me years later about it. She cheated, but... wants me.. so yeah some people are just too stupid.

And some people think they are in love when it was really just infatuation or even lust, and get married after 2-3 months and break up 4 months later and divorce, although now if its that short the court makes it as if the marriage never happened.

LOL yep I know the girl cheating thing as well. And yes people do some strange a** **** when they are in love, infatuated or even in lust with someone. The one that cheated on me I told her not to try and contact me in any way, how ever that did not happened she showed up at my work  looking for me and at my home at times. And when I started to date the one I am with now my ex tried to attack my girlfriend at the time now my fiancé. I had enough and called the cops for a TRO.

Yes that would lead to a short court case that is for sure. At least the one I am getting ready to marry in the future I have known her sense Jr. high along with her family as well. So I have see how she can be at her good and bad times most of that has not changed much. Dated in HS for a while and well went our separate ways for college. And now here we are again.

 I met her, through a friend, I met online, while we were in a clan together for America's Army. I lived in Idaho he lived in Seattle. Well we added eachother to MSN, he had a picture of him and a bunch of friends, I saw her, asked her who she was and went "Is she single?" He took me seriously and gave me her MSN, so I figured hey, why not talk to her. Ended up doing the long distanced for about a year, I then moved up to Seattle, which I had wanted to do, either Seattle or Portland, and we are now living together and engaged. And gonna be engaged for a while, she wants to finish her doctorate before actual marrige.

Well I didn't meet her in AA, I met her friend through AA who had her picture on his MSN. But yeah, I play AA, played since back in the days they only had like 5 maps.

And her major is Micro Biology, her doctorate is in Virology

See and people say games are not good for communication. LOL. That is very interesting as well and very cool. Getting the nerve to ask a person to get married does take a lot of guts as well. And well can we say sweating bullets? How did your go Kocrachon? Mine was in her favorite park that she loves to go to so I thought it would be a good and right place to ask her.
