I just bought an Antec Nine Hundred Case, and I'm building a rig based off of the Q9550 which I got for a SICK price through a buddy of mine that works for intel.  I have a Geforce 8800 gts 640mb DDR3 vid card and I don't plan on ever going SLI.  I'm just kind of torn as to what I should be looking for here.  I want at least 4 Sata 300's internal and 1 eSata 300.  I definitely don't want to spend over 230 on this motherboard, and I need space for my sound card. 

This Asus P5Q Deluxe is very highly rated.

I have the board that SergeiV noted and cannot say enough good things about it.  It has everything you're looking for without a lot of the bells and whistles.  A lot of OC options (if that's your thing), and setup was a snap.  I just plugged my new proc, memory and video card in, hooked up my existing drives and soundcard, made a few minor BIOS tweaks, and was done in about a half hour.  VERY pain free. 

So even though this board is for crossfire I can use it effectively with an Nvidia card?

Just pretend it's not crossfire ready and put your GTS in there...

That's what I thought.  I just wasn't sure if they would play as nice as matching hardware.
