Have a newly built system with a ASUS P5K Deluxe MOB that has an integrated Intel ICH9 RAID Controller, have 4 drives in 2 mirrored groups. Initial load of new OEM version of Win XP stops and says the ICH9 drivers are corrupted.  Tried multiple times, differentdiskettes, same thing.

 Any ideas?  Specific file it errors out on is...iastor.sys as being corrupt.

Can you try another floppy, or will it let you load them to a usb flash drive or something else?

And have you downloaded the latest version of it?

Tried a couple different floppies, even different drivers just for grins, all the same result, which leads me to believe it's a quirk with Windows.  XP have to have a diskette, USB drive will work for Vista.  Pretty damn annoying... Quad Core processor, RAID Disk, etc and I had to turn the house upside down to find a #&%@ diskette, and the first one I found was bad!!

 The ASUS site kind of sucks in my Neophyte opinion. Any advice on where to find them would be appreciated.

Call there tech support and tell him your issue, Ive had this happen to me in the past and ask him to instruct you on where to get the drivers and install them. I know you probably know how to do it, but just bear with the person and get your build up and running.

And you did extract and unzip the folder with the diler before putting it on the cd right????
