Looks like I will have plenty of time to catch up on mei anime and manga series that have been piling up.  (copied from mei post in the Uber section of the forums)
Well I got called while on vacation that the company is going to
surplus mei after 12 years of service. "Surplus" is what we call it
when we let some one go for good. So mei last day has not been set as
of yet but odds are it will be some time this month. So soon I will be in the local bread lines picking up mei un-employment checks. Seems kinda surreal. One good thing is that they are giving mei a payout to help with the bills and will hire a head hunter for mei for 4 months.

Nope, I figured you worked for Newegg or 1 of their subsidiaries and that they might not want to take the chance of any conflicts of interest. But that makes no difference we will be happy to chat with you as a fellow member in good standing of the eggxpert team.

Mei, it will be OK. I went through that once, I then took a few different positions and finally ended up as President of a company I started with as a salesman. It was a very good thing from a very down time. It will be OK, I am sure. Just look at the 4th of July 08 as your independence day. You are too talented to not end up on top of this.
