Hi everyone,

 I'm looking for the right type of back up software pay or free.  I don't care to back up my entire drive, I just want it to grab just the file extensions that I request.  For example I want the software to grab only my MP3's, Photo's, Movies ect. 

I tried Acronis but it does not seem to want to back up my the requested files and reading through several programs I don't see anything that can do something as specific as this.
The main reason is that I lost control over my files and have them spread out all over the place. Plus I copied several old drives so those are in the same system HD.  I just need a program that will find all my media and copy them to my external HD.

I have Norton Ghost 12 and it has the ability to back up files with specific extension, but it might be out of your price range.

Also, you can check out the free SyncToy by Microsoft. I haven't messed around with it, but you could see if it'll do the trick.

program has an EXT. search and save feature. It was a while ago though.

Hey SergeiV and Penewab2007,

Thanks for the advice.  I'll be checking those 2 out when I get home.  Seems that TurboBackup might be the one I need.  The SyncToy does not have a good description of what it all does so I'll DL that one too and see what it does. 

Anyone have any other recommendations?
