Measuring 13 inch x 1.75 inch x 3.5 inch, this cell phone was released in 1983 with a price tag of $3,995. Motorola spent over $100-million and 15 years developing the technology. Available in three different color combinations including tan/gray, tan, and dark gray, the DynaTAC 8000X featured an LED display and up to 30-minutes of talk time when fully charged.

anyways, i actually had one of these in 1996.  These days the DynaTac is also affectionately reffered to as the 'Zack Morris' Phone 

haha, my dad got one back in like 1993. nowadays cellphones are getting as small as possible, even if some people prefer moderate size cellphones, who would like to carry such a giant phone when ur out?!

But the value of Motorola's DynaTAC is tremendous for developing cellular phone technology, and I bet theose old DynaTAC are extraordinarily worthy now.

Haha, I remember those. My dad had one in the early 90's.

Those days we all had pagers too, lol.

I was at my inlaws house last week and came across my wifes old pager from high school.  It all came back like vision of another world; someone would page you and you'd have to go look for a phone to call them back.  Nowadays I don't even always answer my cell because I'm too lazy to fish it out of my pocket.

I also love the old school motorola flip phones, I had one, it was analog, it was awsome.  the battery weighed like 2Lb's and you could talk for like an hour.

Np. Never wanna have it. LOL...so ugly. I'd love slim and stylish phone rather than such a heavy rock in hand. My brother had one in black, but i just placed it in the living room for the decoration. lol

Aha, if you think its ugly, why do you want such an ugly decoration? Well, it’s a nice idea for girls to use it as a protection tool when robbers come. Lol!
