firend of mine is doing a study on the cellphone accessory market for his paper, so he may need some good and trustworthy sites to start with, can you guys pls let me know some of the best cellphone accessory sites? no restrictions on phone brands / models / platforms ... just accessories for all the handsets... from battery to charger, from data cable to headsets, from case/pouch to stickers....whatever widgets/gadgets/decorations that applied to cellphones can be included

also you may input your preferences on handset accessories

for those key accessories like battery / charger / headsets ,

• you care about the brand ?
• what are your faveorite brands ?
• you mind where they made ?
• what's the most important factor to you when choosing an accessory ?
• can you survive with the stock accessories or you have tons of aftermarket pieces?

ebay, ebay, ebay - all the accessory sites in one place FTW!  Definitely the best prices are there.  When i sold cellies, i used cases just so i would sell more accessories - and it works

 

in terms of brand, i like Moto bluetooth products, and Blue Ant too.  I had one of those Aliph Jawbones, but it was so difficult to put on my ear that i don't use it anymore.  In terms of chargers, OEM all the way ... after market chargers are cheap but they're also flimsy and don't work as well as the original equipment of the manufacturer of the phone.  In terms of cases, it really depends on what's available for the phone i'm accessorizing.

ebay is definitefly one of the best cellphone accessory sites. amazon and newegg would be nice choose as well. haha

For the brand, I am totally a Nokia fan, although Moto looks more diversely, I still prefer Nokia as a whole. In terms of batteries, chargers and headsets, I agree with Pablocito, I would still choose OEM, even if after market  products are cheap but just can't give me a sense of security, coz the quality is much more important than price and look. As for the cases, I'm not that rigid coz it does not affect the quality of my cellphone.

Well, for the brand, of course, Nokia and LG for me.

And the elegant design and quality will be the most important factors for me to choose phone accessories.

True, aftermarket products always cost less, but with poor quality. So...i don't think i would prefer those aftermarket items unless the design really really attracts me a lot. LOL...

Usually I go with Nokia for everything, although as of now, my blue tooth headset is from Platronics. But things like phone chargers, I never go after market, pay a little bit more but you know that you got something that is built for your phone...

 The only aftermarket part I used to have on my phone is a little penguin that hanged from it.

I don't feel the need to accessorize much, usually I just use the stuff included w/ the phone.

Only accessory I really need is a case, any case will do as long as its functional and not ugly.

The only headset I've ever had is a Motorola S9, which I rather like.  Without having a broad experience, I don't feel qualified to make any kind of ranking, tho.

Never had to get a replacement battery or charger, but if I did I would definitely trust the OEM parts over random aftermarket parts. 

Just be careful when you buy them... I've seen some fake Nokia batteries that almost look like the real thing.
