For people that type Chinese:

    For people that type Chinese:

    Hi, just wondering if it's possible to use pinyin to type Chinese but have the characters show up in traditional Chinese instead of simplified? I know pinyin is just for simplified but it's just so much easier to use pinyin compared to the other one... =P.

     

    Oh yeah I'm using Vista Ultimate.

    I haven't used those features in Vista yet, but I know in XP it's simply a matter of going to the language settings in your control panel and telling it you want fantizi versus jiantizi

    Have you try to add (Chinese PRC) as keyboard input in the control panel?  That works fine, without additional software.

    Yes I have but Chinese (PRC) is pinyin with simplified.
