For my fellow eggxpert chat enthusiasts, what do you think of setting a defined set of rules for it? There's been some problems lately and we could easily keep that under control with a little "law" system perhaps ;).

If you're interested, reply, and we'll all collaborate together on what's fair.

Well then we might as well keep up to date, what do you guys think of those? Anything you would like to add?

don't get the meaning of slo4sian. that dead smiley almost dazed my eyes. Well, to add one more to the chat rules, it should be....font color should not be the red one, it's kinds insulting. of course it's best to keep the original font and color. FYI

I think they are fine as they are. I really don't think any more are necessary at this point; pretty much covers everything.

 

I think what we need now are more chat moderators. A lot of the time when I go in there, either the one or two mods in there are away or busy, and the rest of the time there's none. I've seen some pretty nasty stuff go down (at least from my POV).

Keep in mind I don't mean all the time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Sometimes moderators show their ID as away or busy, but they still keep an eye on the chat room. Moderator may have lots of other tasks, meeting, or trainings. Anyway, Be assured Mods will try their best to eliminate nasty stuff.

And Jas0n/Egg Staff can implement whatever rules they want to. They RUN this site.

2) could you imagine trying to make a language filter to cover 40 languages?

we can't have 15 people on line speaking 15 different langs! a wreck waiting to happen! richones thoughts only.

I'm perfectly fine with keeping it English only, although it IS fun to talk so some people that come in there that barely speak English, oh boy...

1st RULE: You do not talk about CuteChat.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about CuteChat.

3rd RULE: If someone says "CAGG SUCKS" or spams/becomes a ph00l the chat is over for them.

4th RULE: Only two guys to a private chat.

5th RULE: One private chat at a time.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes. Who would know?

7th RULE: Chats will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at CuteChat, you HAVE to chat.
