Sound Blaster Audigy 2 vs Onboard Realtek ALC888?

Hello I just wanted to get some opinions here.

I built my current pc last year and just recently did some upgrading (vid card/ram/etc), and also bought a set of the z-2300 Logitech 2.1 system.  I then remembered that I had an old Sound Blaster Audigy 2 that I pulled out of my old PC.

Which will I get better sound quality from?  the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 (not the ZS Platinum) or the Onboard Realtek ALC888?

As for sound comparison between the two there the same. Now if it were the XFI that would be different. I would use the onboard sound vs. the Sound Blaster Audigy 2.

The ALC888 is top of the line realtek and I wouldn't doubt the it does have better sound the the audigy 2.  I haven't looked at the specs for the audigy but the ALC888 has some good numbers in their specs.  Also Creative is usually a little lacking at putting specs of their stuff up or it is not easy to find on the site???

Hook it up and compare your self though if need be.
