I think we should have more than one chat room. There should be general chat, computer help, computer building, software, etc... We should do it sort of like the forums. what do you guys think?

Personally I don't use the chat so it doesn't matter much to me.

due to the low traffic...they would only open one channel at the moment...most eggxperts stick to the forum most....

I dont agree with this suggestion... then some rooms maybe too crowded, others are too quiet~~ then people who are looking for help, cannot find people to answer their questions...

We have added other chat rooms a few times in the past and they just didnt pan out. As Kardon showed with the poll we took, the majority or users would only like one room for the time being. If or when the time comes when there is more of a demand for another room(s), we will add them in.

I have witnessed the process of moving from several char rooms to the single one. I used to have the same thought with u, believing more was better than one. but actually it looked like a mess with too many rooms coz of the traffic. Ppl can also get the instant answers from the general room. Anyway, getting the answer asap is much more important. XD
