    AnimeAmaze Forums

    We now have a forums up deticated to animeamaze. we are looking for new members to join us at

    I heard about this on the Sat. night show on animeamze.  Sounds good but if I sign up over there I will have even less time for J-isle, and I already do not get over there much.  Still I will give it a try so see who all makes the move.   Cool

    What we have at J-Isle is very helpful, but we really want to expand on it more, which is why I opened the AnimeAMAZE Forums away from J-Isle.  It was always a plan to open a forums that had more to offer than just odd topics, in one board, so now we have an entire forum to talk about whats needed to be talked about :)

    I know people hate signing up for so many forums so I will continue to post show topics and important news on J-Isle's AA forum, but if you ever want a little more discussions geared toward AnimeAMAZE, then you should check out the official forums at animeamaze.net.

    I'm glad to be back...the site is still a little slow for me, but its not as bad anymore.  Just the login thing is the only problem I have.  It takes too long to log in

    with OC-48, AnimeAMAZE could support 11,942 Listeners at 192kbps Knockout  That would be nice!  Now to build a server that could handle that much listeners would be tricky Stick out tongue

    According to calculations (Im not that much of a geek) we would need about 4 quad core CPU's, 40GB of ram, (or maybe even more) and thankfully we could get a very cheap and small hdd, and we should be all set ;)

    what matters most is the ram.  because thats what you guys use the most when you tune into the server.  it acts as the buffer.  thats why you guys get a delay when you tune in.

    When I move to my new location, I want to try doing an ogg vorbis server or AAC+ server.  I will have more than enough upload by then :)

    Unless the prices have really dropped since the 90's that would get the pipe for 1 month or less with no connection to the net included.   

    Unless you mean if MrSir gives you the 1st 10 Gs you will cover the rest?  You are a generous one!! Wink

    If I did, I would not be complaining about slow internet and shoutcast would be working 24/7
