Photo Printer, What do you recommend?

I have three printers here including a high speed 2 sided Laser but none of them do a good job printing plain old 4 X 6 pictures. My Wife is always wanting prints so I guess I have to give in and get a dedicated photo printer. I am looking for quality prints but 4" X 6" format will cover 99% of them. It must be able to run off the native Vista drivers or a plain supplied driver (I do not want all the typical HP crapola). Cost is not a biggie but quality and reliability is.

I have not started to look at choices yet so I am hoping some of you can shortcut my search.

Is she printing from a camera? many will do it as a stand alone printer (strait from the camera), but they work with Vista too.

U may try Epson C11C660001 ($97.99). It's 4" x 6" photo in as fast as 45 seconds, goes with Windows Vista, and has input capacity of 20 Sheets of PictureMate photo paper. Canon 0860B001AA is also a try. U may have a check. Hope it would help. XD

    Thanks, this got me started.

She prints from her computer as she has started to learn Photoshop. Good suggestions, thanks again.
