Wow looks like they are going to do a big budget 3D movie to compete with Appleseed. 

 ***  Dreamworks to Produce 3D Ghost in the Shell  ***

 Variety reports that Dreamworks has acquired the rights to Ghost in
 the Shell 
 with plans to produce a 3D film version. Steven Spielberg himself is
 named as 
 responsible for pushing the project and newcomer Jamie Moss is
 scheduled to 
 write the script.

That would be nice I have all of the Appleseed movies and they set a pretty high bar for Dreamworks to shoot for.

hey!!  WB lobby.  The anime section has got pretty dry over the last year so Slow seems to be more active at J-Isle as of late.  He has all kinds of crazy and cool avatars/sigs over there he uses.

Ive always said it would be really cool if they did the entire GITS series in the 3d style from the opening theme on the first season. Hopefully this turns out well and Dreamworks looks into doing other series.
