the Palit 9600gt had a rebate not too long ago for $40, now they have a rebate for $30, but I still have the 40 dollar one saved and it says its valid 4/1/08-4/30/08. So am i suppose to expect the 40 dollar one from last week to be expired early? If I bought the Palit 9600GT and sent in the old 40 dollar one, how could they not accept it if its says anything purchased between the 1st and the 30th? Thanks.

Rebates do not expire early..  Check the fine print for any special model numbers or purchase by dates on them..  There's got to be more difference than just the rebate amount (perhaps one applies only to the overclocked edition?).. Do you have  links to PDFs so we can have a look-see?

 

actually your post had me search neweggs rebate center and it seems the 40 dollar one for Palit is still alive. IMO, when u purchased ur order with $40 rebate, u should get the right money even the rebate price has been lowered. I think u may contact CS or directly the manufacture to clearly explain ur issue! Er...i open the link and click the second one with $40 rebate but find out it's still $30 rebate. hmm...maybe it's an error. U may have a check!
