I've been always thinking about this question "WHO DEFINES?!"

Who defines this color is 'RED' that color is 'GREEN'? Who defines the tates of candy is sweet, but vinegar is sour? Who defines glaring round thingie hanging above head called 'THE SUN' not 'burrito' or 'Pampers'? Who defines the creature like us should be called 'human being' not 'lung cancer'? Who defines the thing I'm typing on is 'KEYBOARD' but not 'burger king'? Who defines...

 Who says we interpret the world the same way? Who says the color you see is the same I see? What if a circle to you is a square to me? It's a strange world out there....

Granted, the third question I pose is a little high on the "doubt it" scale, but what about that second question? Colorblindness...?

I have given the color thing a lot of thought...strangely enough, The Matrix is what got me thinking... (the part where Morpheus tries to define 'real' to Mr. Anderson, I thought it was pretty neat-o)

my answer is: not me!

But I hope that some day I will be able to define something, though it is too hard

geometry would be a really interesting class if people saw shapes differently.

my question: why do we, as human beings, ask so many questions? is it an innate reason to ask, and to know? but how about during the middle ages? we as human beings didnt question the Catholic church then as we question everything around us now. 

Aedion, I think a good answer to that would be life expectancy was somewhere in the range of 30-40 years old, if you were lucky, and were more worried about putting food on the table

Nowadays, we have the luxury of questioning how things are around us. We have all the basic needs met that allows us to question such things, and make large advancements in science.
