yes there is a mountain there, really the whole of it is on a mountain, but if you can find out which one you'll probably have a lot easier time figuring it out simply by knowing the size of the vicinity.

I zoomed out a bit more since it's kind of an out of the way location, so that should help some. =)

well.. I was looking for the name of the swimming pool there (green canyon hot springs) but seeing as how your only a WHOOPING 903.04 FEET! from my pushpin I'll say yes you get that one =) lol so your turn fab

Hey Fab,

any chance of another clue? I've spent quite a few hours scanning the coastline all around and I found a few places that looked really close around Alaska and down toward California but every time I think I've seen most of those little nooks that stick out like that I zoom in and find that there's a whole new coastline to scan, it all just seems to be going over my head  lol.. maybe you could give the "eye alt" of the picture or something similar?

this puzzle has just been dead for so long I'm not sure if anyone's been looking anymore

geez..bout time it was found XD and without another hint.. guess people just needed a light on the topic? =).. lol and I thought I looked down that string of islands

I believe its called "darwin Island" the aproximate location is 1°40'43" N 92°00'13" W

I do believe you got it.  I looked at that island group about the first time I started looking and did not scan up far enough North.
