    centsless:
You're not looking for words?  I, and seemingly everyone else, are trying to garner a pithy pertinent phrase from the puzzle.

I'm not sure how you interpreted it, but what I meant to convey was "that's not the answer I'm looking for".

And the clue on this one will go by schedule - one week from post.

OK, it's almost midnight, and I can waste a guess.  Some of us are on the same track, and more guesses may let someone see the light if it's the right track, of course.

While definitely interesting, those guesses are incorrect.

    Re: The EggXpert Prize Box

Well, guys, I think it's safe to say that it's not a simple word cipher.  The only correct answer in the form of a word cipher is:

    RELATED

    CORRECTS

    INITIALLY

    SOAR

    AT

    ENEMIES.

Anything else that's been posted is wrong.  There are only two words the third could be (INITIALLY and UNUSUALLY), but UNUSUALLY doesn't work with the rest of the cipher.

Don't even waste your time, guys. (Unless the puzzle's wrong, then don't waste your time til it's fixed... ;)

I can assuredly say that there's nothing wrong with the puzzle.  Smile

    Re: The EggXpert Prize Box

Well, I just took my first look at it, and I already know how it works, just have to line things up correctly... (but I should be sleeping =/ )

Edit: Well the cipher is not in the normal setup however it does work, at least it works to get the following...

RELATED CORRECTS INITIALLY SOAR AT ENEMIES

However, as discovered it's not the correct answer. So it's not JUST a simple diagrammatic cipher.

Appears, I'll be printing this off in the morning with my notes and take it to work on during my break at work... at least when I'm not working on KRYPTOS.

As I am making this post at 12:20am, the clue was technically supposed to be up yesterday.  Sorry - I went on a brief hiatus that I hadn't entirely planned on.  Anyway...

    PUZZLE 4

Clue #1:  A thesaurus might come in handy for this one...

Here's a freebie - keep in mind that clues are not always meant to be taken literally.

Hehe...  I just didn't want people taking the clue and running in the wrong direction.  It's a clue, not an instruction.

    Re: The EggXpert Prize Box

Sadly I not only have no idea what a cypher is but I've been clueless on every single puzzle, even the ones from before I found this thread. Makes me wonder if I need to go back to middle school or elementary school.

hrm... sadly it's 2am so no dumb luck guesses for me today, I'll acually have to think today's though.

    EDIT:

I think that the clue is about the phase being about something being similar to something else.

I also have a nagging feeling that  this puzzle is similar to Jepordy, the tv game show.
