    I found it, but I'm not sure what to call it...

    I'll admit that I haven't actually been using Google Earth, but the online Google Maps.  It's not labelled as anything there, but a bit of standard Googling suggests that these guys are withering away in the Pripyat River in (where else) Chernobyl.  If you want to get technical, it's maybe 10ish miles south by southeast of the infamous plant site.

    Indeed! It's actually the rusting hulls of the ships of Chernobyl Harbor! The Chernobyl plant was built a ways outside of the town Chernobyl. Pripyat (the town) was then built around the plant. I saw it when I was getting the stuff for my Chernobyl set, and it looked so neat that I decided to use it this time.

    Congrats!

    wow i was looking around Kansas City like a dofus because it was the last image posted not "your" last image. i guess i should read the clues better, been busy with meeting the kids teachers and other stuff anyway. CG get Google Earth lol...I knew you weren't using it. GE puts the logo at the bottom right of the images.

     

    i guess GE isn't really needed but it makes it interesting.

    isn't there a theory out that the head and body of the sphinx were built at different times in human history....i think it says that the head was carved when Egypt was tropical like 10,000 years ago then the ancient Egyptians came across the head, and eroding rock around it, and carved the body out.
