I'm a huge CS 1.6 fan. Its great to see that you guys have a 1.6 server up already! I'll check it out as soon as I get internet access in my apt. (just moved in and cable company is slooooooooooooowwww). As far as the chat goes, phoenix, we could set up a channel on IRC in Gamesurge. If we have enough people active, we could get it registered too.

Has the server ip changed again from what is posted on the first post? Let me know what it is so i can keep it updated. Also, unless someone else can throw a CSS server up soon, mine wont be up til school starts again and I can leech off the campus bandwidth :P

im really happy to see you guys got a cs server up.  i'll be sure to hop on today after skool.  pretty much the only online game i play atm.  used to be a guild wars freak.  got boring tho.  nightfall killed it...  anyway, you can bet to be seeing me on.  my in game name is Josh Lives in a Trailer.

do you have your own server?  i've been looking for a new sever to play on.  theres a lot of weird severs with custom maps and such, that i really dont like playing.  the CS levels are the best.  cs_office and de_dust2 are my favs. 

I could get us a TeamSpeak server. Either I can host off of my dedicated linux box or my friend can give us a freebie teamspeak off of his game server box. (Hell, even a free CS 1.6 or CS:S server if I ask nice)

I hate teamspeak with a passion... try out Ventrilo... Unless you have a clan of like 100 people Vent is far better. /endrant

I play HL2:DM and TF2. Not currently CS:S but perhaps soonish.

A TF2 server would be 107% awesome.
 

Hey guys, let me know if any Egg clans need a vent server. I currently own a vent server capable of holding quite a lot of people (at least 45+). I have 2 channels for my clan and i'll be more than happy to give the Egg clan their very own channel.

We should possibly try to merge two threads on here into one. root started up a thread as well, collecting gamer's tags in games across platforms. Want to play with your fellow eggxperts online? is the title of the thread. I'll get a link when I get home, or perhaps somebody will beat me to the punch. Anyway, I think we should somehow condense all this info into one thread, as that would help out a lot on the topic.

Sounds like a really cool idea.

I'm currently in a community called FireWall, I wear their tag whenever I'm in their servers  as FW-=Leon=-, but if it's a community and not a clan, I'd like to be able to put on the ]EggX[ tag when in that server.

Also, I have a spare PC and a great network connection; I could probably set up a CSS server on my machine soon.
