Whoa~ No way man..  I paid $120 for my GTS 250 and I got a free copy of World At War bundled with it and also free shipping and that was 6 months ago! .. You'd have to be insane to buy one of those at that price, especially with DX11 cards right around the corner..

If you go with a GTS 250, don't pay more than $100 for it before shipping & tax..  If you want to spend more than $100, then think about spending it on a new PSU.

If I were you, I'd just go with a 5750 and if it doesn't work out because your PSU isn't powerful enough, then buy a new PSU..

    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

The 5000 series of ATI cards can run DX11, there are no nviida cards out yet that can run DX11..

Other than that, not really much difference..

Also you probably don't need to upgrade your PSU. The new series uses smaller nanometer transistors so it actually uses less energy than previous gen cards.

The manufacturers just set a high requirement so if anything goes wrong, you don't go to them for help.

    HP Media Center machine
    MOBO: ASUS OEM board
    CPU: 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 Athlon X2 5000+
    RAM: 2 GB Qimonda PC2-4200 DDR2 RAM
    GFX: Sapphire Radeon HD 4850
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 320 GB SATA 7200 RPM

HD 5750 will be more power efficiency and runs cooler and quieter than its predecessors. So it is highly recommended if you PSU could handle it.
