    LED on MB

my ASUS M4A79XTD EVO has a green led on it and it never turns off.

Anyone no why it has it and or why it does not turn off at all.

and it keeps my usb stuff on.

That's the I have power and seem to be ok light. lol Smile

It is pretty normal for the usb to still have power when the machine is powered down. I think the main reason is to charge usb devices without having to leave the machine on. Not all mobos do this but many do. Not sure if there is a setting in bios to change it.

Check the mainboards manual, many have physical jumpers for the USB power settings.

And yea, green light just means that everything is GO with the system.
