I am tryign to set up remote desktop on my PDA phone (Windows Mobile 6.5) and work computer (XP) to control my home machine (Win7 Pro).

There are two issues, and I wonder how I can solve them.

My home desktop goes to sleep and when I try to access it I cannot wake it up and connect to it. How can I set the Power Options of my home desktop so that it wakes up, or I need to do this on BIOS? 

When I try to set up a TV show recording remotely using my PDA, I first have to open Windows Media Center. But I get the message that the display has to be 32-bit to use Windows Media Center. I don't know what bit my PDA's display is. But is there any workaround for this issue?

For your first issue, you will most likely need to go into your BIOS and select Wake on LAN so network activity will allow it to wake up.  For your second issue, I am not sure of the answer as I am not much for watching TV.
