    Radeon 5770 for 3 monitors?

I just wasted some time and money with an ASUS EAH5770 graphics card (returned) because the manufacturer claimed that it supported 3 monitors. They call it eyefinity technology. But the ASUS card only supports 2 monitors at the same time. I believe that the ATI Radeon 5770 chips support 3 monitors, but it is quite hard to tell which if any manufacturers cards actually support 3 monitors. The ATI web site says that the third monitor must use the displayport. I tried a displayport to hdmi adapter, but could only use 2 monitors at a time. Does anyone have experience using 3 monitors off of a single graphics card?

I really haven't seen any video cards that support 3 monitors (Well) However, I have a configuration and use a Matrox "Triple Head To Go" and I'll have to confess, IT"S AWESOME. it took a little time to set up and tweek but when it's done and set just right, you can't go wrong. have a look at a couple here.

To use Eyefinity, which is ATI's way for 3 monitors on one card, you MUST have either a DisplayPort native monitor or an active converter (which is about $100). All of the 5*** series cards support EF. I have seen people's computer running with eyefinity and it does work, you just have to have a DP monitor or the right converter. A simple DP to HDMI would not work.
