ac'97 not working on win 7

    ac'97 not working on win 7

    The other day I installed win 7 ultimate on my pc. As soon as I finished I installed the sound drivers. the audio worked but my ethernet didn't so I did a mobo bios update thinking it will fix the issue . Well it didnt and know the audio wasn't working either. Today I installed drivers for my ethernet and it works but my audio just won't work I've tryed the ac'97 update drivers for vista/win7 but when I start installing the drivers  windows security pops up saying they cant verify the publisher so I can either install the drivers or not. So I click on install drivers anyway. After this maybe a few seconds later it pops up again and agian and it just wont stop. If you have any suggestions reply.

    You will very likely want HD Audio drivers, not AC'97 (aka Azalia). Those drivers are also likely to be Realtek HD Audio Drivers.

    I tryed the hd drivers too they wont work either

    I assumed you had Realtek; you were supposed to verify that...

    If your audio is still not working, you'll want to visit the motherboard manufacturer's site for the updated drivers, check the plugs or visit the OEM's site for drivers (like Dell/HP/etc...).
