    Question about the Corsair h50

The pump on the h50 is a three pin, however all the fan pin headers on the mother board are 4 pin.

I'm wonding if i can plug the 3 pin into a 4 pin connector, and if it should be pluged into the cpu_fan or if the fan (which is 4 pin) for the radiator be connected to the cpu_fan and the pump go into one of the many other headers(if it can be pluged into a 4 pin header)?

Also is it just me or are there no fan controllers that work with all 4 pin they all seem to be 1x4 3x3 pin or all 3 pin. Are there any fan controllers out there that can you can connect to just 4 pin or a controller that takes a 4 pin line from the motherboard header and then from the controller go out to mulitple 3pin fans if there are i could theoretically run the cpu_fan header to the controller and let it tell the controller what to run the fan(s)/pump at

I know this is problably wishful thinking and i'll take any advice that can be given. I would like to learn about this as much as possible. thank you for you time.

Re: Question about the Corsair h50

Plug the fan into the CPU_FAN header, and the pump into any of the other fan headers it will work fine.

The fourth pin is for digitally controlled fan speed, so if looking for a fan controller, you'd need a much more expensive model to controll the fans, Half the time Newegg doesn't even carry them, because they are hard to find, most people just use 3 pin fans for thee case, and allow the main board to controll the CPU fan.
