Package Intercepted UGH

    Package Intercepted UGH

    Had a pre-order put in for November 3rd and to my surprise, Newegg shipped it out on Wednesday, only to find out yesterday that the package was being intercepted and held for a later delivery date! It arrived in my city today but refused to be delivered.

    Called about this yesterday when I found out, so the CS Rep placed another order with Next Day shipping to compensate for their mix up....that one didn't come today either and no UPS delivery on Saturday. So now I have 2 charges on my credit card.

     

    Don't send things out so early if you request to have it intercepted before release date. Seriously frustrating to see my package travel in a timely manner then get stopped dead in its tracks.

    Thanks for the advice/responses, sent a pm! I've had nothing but great experiences with Newegg in the past. This was my first pre-order.

    usually they will ship to u a few days before it was officially released....so that u could have it most probably on the release date....hope everything will go right

    Don't worry about that, since your new order was placed with next day shipping, so it should be delivered to u right around the release date. As for the pervious order, once it is reshipped to newegg, they will refund u within 3-5 business days. so right now, just be patient and wait...I hope everything goes well finallySmile

    Looks like the latest is they're holding the package for delivery until Tuesday. What a mix up, wonder if the Next Day one will come today or if that was intercepted too.

    I had a similar issue a while back with Newegg double-charging me for a mix-up. Except instead of a credit card, it was a debit card linked to my checking account. I was literally 3 cents from an overdraft. Once the second package arrived back at Newegg, they issued a refund and all was well.
