Troubles using the Auria EQ2488F as a monitor

This TV worked as a monitor for a while.  I'm positive that some settings on the TV need to be changed, but I don't know how and there's no customer support, and nothing on the web.

I'm trying to get this Auria EQ2488F to work as a monitor. It works fine as a HDMI TV, but when I connect it to either of the computers here, one xp, the other Windows 7, the display can't be properly configured horizontally. My other LCD monitor works perfectly.

I've tried the settings on the Auria itself, and also the nvidia graphics display on the computers. In both events, 1/3 of the display is off the screen, and the bottom third of the screen is black. I hate to return this if there's a way to figure it out I would, but Auria has no customer service and there's nothing on Google. It occured to me thinking back where the problem may have started, is that from the auria display menu, I allowed auria to automatically select the proper settings for horizontal, vertical and so forth. Also, it seems to me that the horizontal and vertical settings controls are reversed in the auria menu, so that adjusting vertical, adjusts horizontal, and adjusting horizonta, vertical. It seems to me that if I could reset the Auria monitor, that would be a start, but there are no directions.

It's just overscan..  You can correct it in the nvidia control panel... If the TV works fine as a TV, then you're probably better off just adjusting it in software than in the TV's configuration menu because any changes you make to the TV, you'll have to undo when you use it as a TV again...

    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

What adjustment in the Nvidia control panel corrects overscan.  I have used the function clicking on the arrows to adjust the screen position, but this does not allow me to move the screen to the bottom.  No matter how I try.

I have an Nvidia 6800 and the driver version is 191.07.

You should be able to set a custom resolution. Set it slightly smaller than 1080i and it should adjust for the overscan.

    I happily buy tech! Why wouldn't I?
