Hi, so I've been looking to buy a netbook and the Asus eee 1005ha-vu1x-bk has caught my eye. Last night I was doing some final research before I make my final purchase and I saw that HP now has a mini using the nvidia ion, I would much rather go with asus then HP so I was wondering if there will be any new eee pcs coming out because I don't want to buy something now and a week later asus will release something new that's better then what I got. If something new is coming out, will I have to wait that long? I'm hoping to get something sooner then later, sooner as in within a month. Thanks!

oh and I will mostly be using it for notes in class, messengers, movies, music and maybe sometimes games. (I saw that the new hp mini can play cod4)

I think it really depends on how long you want to wait for it. If I were you, I'd wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals from NE. You could get the laptop on a good sale ("could" is the key word).

However, if the price of both computers is the same and time isn't a factor, go with the HP. They're a pretty solid brand

Yup maybe to wait for a while is not a bad thing.

More and more Intel core i7 notebooks with Windows 7 are avaialable soon. 

Yup, it maily depends on what you use your rig for.

Agreed. if u like, u can wait for a few months for better windows 7 based netbooks from asus or hp or samsung, etc, but if I were u, I would happily go with the Asus eee 1005ha-vu1x-bk or the HP Mini 311（it got great reviews too).
