from the looks of it.. no you can not hook it up directly to a tv that does not have an HDMI port.. but the loop hole in being able to hook it up to a tv is if you have a laptop with S-video out on it.. you can hook the camera to the laptop then connect the laptop to the tv.. or you could just transfer the video to the laptop and hook it up to the tv.. then get an a single male end audio cable that splits to L and R audio so that you can get audio and video at the same time.. something like this..
that would be about the only way to hook it up to a standard definition tv without HDMI..
