What HDD can I get for my XPS 710?

I am not exactly sure how to know which HDD to get but I was thinking of adding one to my XPS 710 because of lack of space. I was also going to install windows 7 on this drive so that I could easily switch between the drives if that is possible(?) also can my computer support windows 7(?). I am very new to these kinds of things so any kind of help would be great.

Also is it hard to install the HDD?

     Here are my specs below:

Look at the cable comiing out of the drive if its wide then you have ide if its narrow you have sata. This is not the power cable but the data cable that goes to the motherboard. More then likely you can use a sata drive in that computer. Oh and the reason you can see 3.gbs of ram is not because its xp but because its 32bit os and not a 64 bit os. 32bit os's are limited to 3.5gbs of ram.

    This HDD is compatible.

Can you please advise on some ones on newegg? Since they are probably cheaper.

Can I install a OS on this new HDD?

Can I switch between the two for booting the computer?

Re: What HDD can I get for my XPS 710?

I just looked at the link and the hard drive that is in the link is a SATA drive so any SATA style drive should work.  I would recommend SATA II drives as they are capable of faster speeds.

Antec Nine Hundred, C2Q Q9300 (Currently at stock speeds), Asus Maximus II Formula, OCZ Reaper HPC DDR2 1066 8GB 2x(2x2GB kit), BFG 9800GTX+, SupremeFX X-Fi, PC Power & Cooling S75QB 750W, 2x Seagate 750 GB SATA hard drive, Samsung SH-S203N SATA DVDRW, Lite-On LH-20A1L SATA DVDRW, XIGMATEK dark knight - s1283, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit RC
