AMD Athlon II X3

So, will newegg be getting in the new Athlon X3 CPU's soon? They launched a few days ago, and I've been checking for them on Newegg every day. I've got a friend doing a $400 computer build right now and he'd prefer something a bit cheaper than an Athlon X4.

the new triple-core 45 nm CPUs are priced starting at $76! aha, very good but they are still not available at newegg.com. Hopefully, it will be here soon.

So, I made the product suggestion, and newegg sent me back this response:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Newegg.

Unfortunately, we are not carrying this product at this time. Our marketing and purchasing departments collectively determine all decisions regarding our inventory selection.

So, newegg is not carrying certain CPU's? Why? The price they're set at is really amazing. I thought newegg carried pretty much all current CPU's.

They are in stock today, I think you just got an mail from someone who was not knowledgable or could not give complete info at that time.
