BluntObjection:Pretty sure the majority of the FFXI fan base hated FFXI, I know I did.
You mean userbase? They wouldn't be in the fanbase if they hated the game..
I know this is way off topic, but Call of Duty: World at war has an awesome Multiplayer Nazi Zombie mode that is just so darn addicting.. The single player is pretty lame though.. The game just feels so unrealistic unless you crank it up to the hardest difficulty level and then you end up going into an ambush scene.. Even if you know that it's an ambush, you're still forced to play it because it's part of the story.. No way around it,and the only way to beat it is to know where the ambush is coming from and to chuck grenades so that the ambush runs right into it.. I really like to have more freedom in my FPS games.. In games like Crysis and return to castle wolfenstein, you have 101 ways to kill a guard and dozens of different approaches to choose from... Call of Duty single player, I always feel like I'm being crammed through the neck of a very thin bottle when it comes to freedom of doing stuff.. Hate that. My little sister loves it though, she always gets frustrated by those games that give you tons of freedom because she can never figure out where she needs to go..
But ironically, I also don't typically like MMORPGs.. For a different reason though, they're like black holes that endlessly suck down your time.. The little time that I do have, I'd rather use it playing more exciting games.. Everytime I think about getting into something like WoW, I then think about how the MMORPG is going to be dead someday and all the hours put into it wasted.. There are a lot more exciting games out there than those MMORPGs..
Oh yea, and Ghostbusters is really awesome even without multiplayer and with a few glitches...
Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAIDI never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.
