promo code expired? gosh, that's not a small price difference. well, what u can do now is only to  hold your money and keep an eye on newegg's site hoping they could bring that deal back again, but I don't think that's possible, or maybe u should simply place the order and then contact customer service for some discount, which they may offer if u r deemed as a valued customer, good luck.

He's probably just hoping somebody from NewEgg would see this thread and throw the deal back up again.

I know we've got mods like Dom_Dom to contact for Customer service, but it'd be nice to have somebody to contact about deals requests.. Then again, they'd probably get bombarded with "Can you put the i7 computers on sale so I can buy them with the $20 I got for my birthday?" type e-mails..

I saw the deal a day after it expired . I could probably have called and asked them to honor it but I hate being a PITA. I try not to pm mods unless something is on fire. I know they have better stuff to do. Besides I missed the deal it's my fault not the eggs.

Figured posting a request to return a newsletter deal in the "return these newsletter deals" area seemed reasonable lol.

Coscto has them for 299 but i just busted the bank ordering my new i7 Folding@home build. So every cent I can save helps.

 Probably for the best, i know the gf would not be all to pleased.
