    Video Card for this case?

What would be the best video card in a 9600 or higher series nvidia or 4850 or better ati?  I have someone who wants me to build them a good PC around this case and i know a lot of graphics cards are quite long these days but are there any that will fit in this case?

Rating + 4 Great for the price

Pros: Looks good, fits in my entertainment center. Seems to power my 3ghz core 2 duo with nvidia 9600gt and 2 1tb drives just fine.

Cons: The video card is literally wedged in against the power supply. the fans have to be removed to install the motherboard. The front panel LEDs are not well secured and will fall out.

Other Thoughts: This computer shipped with the power supply turned off. You have to remove the front panel to turn the power supply on. Measure everything before you buy. the specs say that it will support a 9 inch card, which it will if you pry the back of the computer back to allow the bracket to clear as you are installing.

I heard the 9600 is pretty good for gaming, or at least decent. I like to stick to ATI cards but you can always google a comparison.

ok, i'll look into the 9600 GTs, if they are any better then my 8600 GT i'm sure they'd be happy with it as a gaming card.

9600GSOs are rebranded nVidia cards that didn't sell well. Go with GTX.

Re: Video Card for this case?

its hard to predict the performance of these two 9600 GPUs due to the eclectic mix of specs, but yup, by comparison the 9600GT is much faster and you may want to read this.
