I need help with Caller ID...

    I need help with Caller ID...

    I got a land line phone. I need Caller ID to ID callers who is brothering me nearly everyday... I check the rates and the price is way over priced, pricing $8 a month... Cell phones Caller ID is pretty much free. Is it possible to use some kind of hack to get free caller ID or somehow get a free caller ID for my land line phone?

    No the caller ID is setup by the phone company.

    so there is no super hack or modifications I can do? Or can I connect my phone to the internet and setup my own caller ID.. or something.. $8 a mo.. is way over priced.

    The only way for the internet to even happen with CID is if your ISP allows phone calls and VOIP. And no there is no super hack and if there was your a** would go to jail for 15 - 20 years for accessing ma bell, ask Kevin Mitnick
