I couldn't find my charger for my Canon camcorder so I looked around my house for one that might worked (I know I am retarded). I found one, plugged it into the camcorder and a not to good sounding sound was made. 30 minutes later I find the real charger (FML) and when I plugged it in nothing happer. It didn't say it was charging and it would come on. So I know for I fact that I killed it. My question is did I break the whole thing, or do I just need to replace the battery. BTW would that have killed the built in lithium battery that does date and time??
