    It will help. I went off the south (whistle) in your post and searched a bit in South Korea. But, no luck. Then Tried some in Tibet

    I am lost. Asia is a really big place. You said Ripley's. So, does it have to do with some mythical creature in the Himalayas

    no, not a mythical creature in the Himalayas.

    when I said I found it via Ripleys I meant it quite literally.. "http://comics.com/ripleys_believe_it_or_not/" I also seen another previously used location that may be familiar in the oct/19/2008 edition.

    the comic in genneral gives a pretty good hint if you know when to look.. however since you don't know what your looking for it'll be a pain..

    the "eye alt" of the picture is a meager 920 feet so I may need to add another picture for you guys, let me know if you'd like a little bit of a zoom out =)

     RIGHT CLICK AND VIEW IMAGE FOR A LARGER VIEW

    My resolution is gigantic on my machine so I had to size it down for newegg but if you go to the actual image link here its bigger.
