Freshman in highskool, no job.  but people pay me to work on their computers.  i dont even have to ask, they just give me money, and i work on it.  i love it here, theres all these people who know nothing about computers.  so they'll pay me to put in a CD rom drive.  its ridiculous.  but hey, $20 for putting in a CD rom drive, easy money.

    Re: What's your job?

Cool lots of different career's. I work in the paper industry. I know making toliet paper isn't high up the list as a preffered job. But people will go without a lot of other products before they stop buying toilet paper =)   I was in the Predictive maintenance department as a level 1 Vibration analyst. I also do some ultrasonic scanning as well as thermography.

You either work towards a solution, or do nothing and become part of the problem!

Studying the feeling you get when using cheap toilet paper?

    Big Smile

Sounds more interesting than my job.  I was under the impression that I would become a software engineer in the Video Game industry.  Boy was I wrong.  How many consoles run on COBOL or RPG?!?!?

Hey guys, just post what some of you do for a living.

As for me, I've worked at a celery hearts facility for about a year, and now that I'm old enough I'm looking to get a job at Circuit City. I haven't actually applied yet - is there anyone that works there that has some advice for me?

Worked at Circuit City for a while before getting into IT, nice employee discount, wasn't working in the area I wanted to be in (Computers or Car Audio), so it kinda sucked.  I basically had to put CDs away and do checkout.  Got my IT job shortly after, so I got outta there.

No job here and I have been retired for 14 years.

I did hold management positions in a few semiconductor  manufacturing companies, owned my own retail business for 9 years and then spent 4 years in the golf bag manufacturing business.

    Pretty rounded experiences.
